Admission Process for Undergraduate Programs

Early Admission Process (For students appearing for class XII and awaiting results)

Students upon registration are evaluated on the basis of their academic performance in class XI and their performance in the DBS University Entrance Examination and online interview.  Those who score above the threshold aggregate in (X, XI, test & Interview) will be offered a seat subject to meeting the qualifying criteria of the university in Class XII (which will be mentioned in the Offer Letter).

Applicable till 1st June, 2024 or XII result declaration whichever is early.

In case a student applies for early decision and is unable to cross the required threshold he/she will be considered for regular decision subsequently. Students should send their class XII marks mentioning their DBS Application no. on registrar@dgu.ac within 15 days of receiving the board results. 

Regular Admission Process (After declaration of XII result):

Admission to the B.Tech program is on the merit of Academic records and Online Interview.

Direct Admissions – Applicants appearing in their class 12 examinations through any of the Boards affiliated to the Council of Boards of School Education should have a minimum 75% average marks in 04 Subjects i.e Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and 01 Core Subject or JEE Percentile 60 and above will be exempted from online interviews.

Applicants whose average marks is less than 75% in 4 Subjects i.e Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and 01 Core Subject or JEE percentile below 60 will need to appear for an online interview for the screening. 

Specialization / Courses shall be offered on the basis of first come first basis of date of submission of admission fees. In case of delay beyond the stipulated date the student will be put on a rolling admission category and seat/ specailzation will be confirmed next in waiting. 

Confirmation to the rolling seat will be subject to availability of seat and pipeline of current admission offers on the date of receipt of conditional admission fees. 

Admission to the BBA program is on the merit of Academic records and Interview. 

  • Applicants appearing in their class 12 examinations through any of the Boards affiliated to the Council of Boards of School Education should have a minimum 75% average marks in 04 core subjects or CUET (UG) Percentile 60  and above will be exempted from online interviews. 
  • Applicants whose average marks is less than 75% in 04 core subjects or CUET (UG) Percentile below 60 will need to appear for an interview for the screening. 

Admission to the B.Ed program is on the merit of Academic records and Interview.

  • Candidates with at least 50 % marks either in bachelor degree and/or in Master Degree in Science/Social Science/Humanities/Commerce, Bachelor in Engineering of Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the programme

Admission to the BCA program is on the merit of Academic records and Interview.

  • All students must have passed 10+2 examination with Computers and Maths as one of the subjects with a bare minimum of 50% marks (minimum requirement as laid down by the University). Short-listed eligible students will need to get themselves registered with Beehive College by filling the registration form, and would be required to appear for personal interview.

Admission to the B Sc program is on the merit of Academic records and Interview.

  • Applicants appearing in their class 12 examinations through any of the Boards affiliated to the Council of Boards of School Education should have a minimum 60% average marks in 04 core subjects and above will be exempted from interviews. 
  • Applicants whose average marks is less than 60% in 04 core subjects will need to appear for an interview for the screening. 

Note for UG program:
A merit list would be drawn up based on the number of students opting for the program and a cutoff would be developed based on the number of seats. Only those students who make it to the merit list, based on class XII result & interview scores, of a particular course, may be offered a seat in the program. As the seats are limited, the institution reserves the right to offer the seat to the next eligible candidate, in case the student fails to reserve his/ her seat.
